Patrick Chandler was convicted of the murder of John Comer 45.
Patrick Chandler and John Comer had gone out with some other people to steal some cannabis from a place in Lawford. However, on the way Patrick Chandler stabbed John Comer with a knife so hard that the knife broke.
The motive for the attack was unknown.
Shortly after his conviction he attacked a man in prison with a knife on 2 July 2018 and was convicted of his attempted murder. He stabbed him in the prison kitchen.
